Of course my drive only works until the unit losses a signal while recording then I have to reformat the drive again.
However, my 2TB USB hard drive still works. This device made my 128GB flash drive so that nothing can use it any more. I would say that 60% is a lowest strength to be able to record with. In my area the signal strength is sometimes only about 40%. You need a very strong signal feeding this to get a recording. If you are expecting to record shows using this device I would hesitate to recommend it.
